United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) Ghanaian Battalion 90 (GHANBATT 90) have made presentations of various items to the Ghana Army Combat School (ACTS), and the James Cole Ward of the 37 Military Hospital (37 Mil Hosp), as an expression of appreciating the critical services provided by the two military institutions, and goading them to do more.
On Tuesday 1 October 2024, a representation of UNIFIL GHANBATT 90, led by its Commanding Officer (CO) – Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Frank Kwesi Agyeman, and his Deputy – Lt Col Nii Sowah Rudolph, firstly presented 3 laptops, 2 projectors, 2 desktop computers, 2 Uninterrupted Power Suppliers (UPS), and 4 Slide Changers, to ACTS, and were received by the Commander, ACTS – Colonel (Col) Robert Narh.

Receiving the gifts, Col Narh said the donated items have met some critical needs of ACTS, with which the school has been contending, in running courses like Battalion Commanders, and Combat Team Commanders Courses, in the area of consistency in teaching.
He used the occasion to urge other COs to be benevolent to their Alma Mater, particularly in areas like providing washrooms for the classrooms, and be reminded that they would one way or the other, have need for the use of the school sometime in their career, and that whatever they give to the institution, would be to their benefit.

UNIFIL GHANBATT 90 then proceeded to donate a Vital Signs Monitor – a health equipment that checks blood pressure (BP), temperature, respiration, pulse and Oxygen saturation in the blood (SpO2) – to the James Cole Ward of the 37 Mil Hosp, for use for Soldiers of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).
The multipurpose electronic monitoring device, which cost USD1,200 – financed by the Battalion and its Warrant Officers (WO) and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCO) – is applied at first point of call at a health facility on a patient, at the Out-Patient Department (OPD) or at the Ward.

Present to receive the device were Colonel (Col) Patience Owusu-Aidoo – Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), 37 Mil Hosp; Col Vivian Adzah – CNO, Administration, and other Nurses.
