The five personnel of the Ghana Armed Forces Supplies & Transport (S&T) Directorate, who were awarded with a 5-Day all-expenses-paid pleasure trip to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) have successfully completed the tour and returned from the trip.
Speaking after their arrival at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA), Accra, on Thursday 26th August, 2021, the leader of the delegation Lieutenant Charles Osei Ofori of the Armed Forces Supplies and Transport Training School, on the behalf of his colleagues, thanked the Director of the S&T Director – Colonel (Col) Bessa Kwao-Adotey for the selection to enjoy such a trip.
“We left Ghana and on arrival in Dubai, had an exciting tour of the Emirates where we were sent to the various tourist centers, our hotel arrangements, feeding, spending money catered for and we really enjoyed our stay”, Lt Osei-Ofori said.
He added that not only did the trip serve as an eye-opener for them personally but that it would also serve as a morale booster for all troops of the directorate, nationwide.
It would be recalled that the S&T Directorate, awarded five of its personnel for their hard work and diligence to duty, with a five-day all-expenses-paid pleasure travel package to Dubai and were flown out of the country on Thursday, August 19, 2021.
The rest of the five are Warrant Officer Class 1 (WOI) OWUSU FREDRICK AMOAH – Defence Mechanical Transport Battalion, WOII DARKWAH AARON ISRAEL – General Headquarters Supplies and Transport, WOII AMPEM-DARKO – Base Supply Depot and Staff Sergeant (S/Sgt) MOFFAT DORIS – Six Supply Depot, Tamale.
The team was met on arrival by Major Eunice Koranteng, Major Alfred Issaka from S&T and Lt Thelma Bawa Bezua – Second-In-Command, Five Forces Movement Unit.
