The Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) has undertaken a clean-up exercise of the main street of Teshie, as part of the military college’s end-of-year activities, as a goodwill gesture to appreciate the immediate community, and to also help rid the streets of filth.

The clean-up endeavour, which was held on Saturday 21st December, 2019, was spearheaded by the Commandant of GAFCSC – Rear Admiral (R/Adm) Moses Beick-Baffour; is an annual exercise whereby the commandant organizes an event to crown the year and also thank the students and staff, for supporting him to see through his mission.

GAFCSC teamed up with Zoomlion Ltd – who availed refuse trucks and cleaning equipment, and the Ledzokuku Municipal Assembly – who also availed their cleaning equipment, fire tender to flush the drains with 50 personnel, to help with the endeavour.

The trio cleaned the street from GAFCSC up to the Mobil traffic light, in the Teshie Township, after which the commandant, later hosted the staff of the college to refresh and address them with his appreciation message, as well as direction for the oncoming year.
