Brigadier-General Daniel Kwadwo Frimpong (rtd), author of RETIREMENT MUSINGS, has presented copies of the book to the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC), to help stock the military College’s library and to help readers to prepare for the inevitable.

The launching of the 220-page book had come off at the Burma Hall, at Burma Camp, on Thursday 21st 2019, while the Command of GAFCSC was on its annual Regional Study Tour, thus they missed the launch, hence the General thought it wise to make the presentation.

Receiving the books, the Commandant of the military College – Rear Admiral Moses Beick-Baffour urged that all, including civilians take the book seriously, to prepare for retirement – which he said, with his experience as Military Secretary, he realized from reactions that many service personnel due for retirement were not prepared at all, for life after retirement.

Brig Gen Dan Frimpong (Rtd), who is a former staff of the college, is deemed a prolific writer and author of a number of books, such as “Leadership and the Challenges of Command” and “Kofi Chokosi Speaks”.
